My response to the latest Green Party of BC newsletter, Nov 19th, 2025.

We are still feeling the energy from last weekend’s Convention & AGM— and today, we get to share news that reflects exactly why this movement is growing.

Coming out of our record-breaking 2025 AGM, members voted with support to pass a landmark motion committing the BC Greens to oppose genocide, apartheid, systemic discrimination, and colonial violence, wherever they occur.This makes us the first political party in British Columbia to take an unequivocal, principled stand against genocide — including the ongoing genocide of the Palestinian people.
This is the kind of moral clarity our politics desperately needs.
As BC Greens Leader Emily Lowan said:

“At a time when governments will not even acknowledge the reality of genocide in Palestine, the BC Greens are choosing to lead. We are choosing to say — without qualification — that all people deserve freedom, safety, dignity, and the right to live without state violence.”

This moment belongs to every member, volunteer, and supporter who believes in courageous, values-driven politics. It is the product of thousands of conversations, years of organizing, and a community unwilling to look away from injustice.

And that spirit defined our entire Convention & AGM weekend.

From Friday night’s overflowing kickoff social (and a surprisingly competitive round of speed-friending), to Saturday’s ‘Movement Camp’ where we trained, strategized, and dreamed together, to Sunday’s AGM where members charted the next steps for a stronger, more strategic Green movement — our weekend showed us what happens when hope becomes a discipline, and when people show up for each other.

You mean the totally and obviously faked ‘genocide’ in Gaza along with the obviously faked famine. You and your party are apparently not astute enough or well educated enough to lead effectively. Pathetic. No doubt you are totally infiltrated by Islamists and those who wave falastinian and ISIS flags and chant ‘from the river to the sea’ and ‘gas the jews’ and ‘globalize the intifada’ sporting your fashion keffeyah. You know not what you do. You blindly climbed aboard a popular bandwagon built for conformists, for the naive and the gullible under-educated hordes of ‘useful idiots’. You apparently have no idea who built the band-wagon, what is is made of, who is driving it or where it is going.

You are NOT free thinkers, you are NOT critical thinkers and you are NOT rational, remotely fair or well informed on this issue. It is part of an organized and concerted effort by The Muslim Brotherhood et al to infiltrate and corrupt gov’t, essential services and NGOs all over the free world. It’s working for them the bastards, as evidenced by the zombie hordes of useful idiots currently plaguing our street, our public squares, our essential services and our government.
Be AWARE that Islam ALWAYS tends towards theocratic authoritarian regimes lacking free speech, free press, equal rights for ALL in the law, which of course includes lack of equal rights for women, sexual and religious minorities, and also lacking the right to criticize the government, blasphemy laws and also is highly misogynistic and homophobic. THAT is Islamic theology, culture and practice, in ALL of the Islamic majority countries. 7 out of 10 of the most corrupt countries on earth are Islamic regimes. Of the top 10 countries in the world, as ranked by quality of life, NONE are Islamic majority countries. I recommend you take some time off of politics and go and study history, comparative religion, global geopolitics, the psychology of propaganda, coercion and conformity and get back to us in a few years once you have properly educated your selves.

Meanwhile, as naive nincompoops peer with myopic tunnel vision at Gaza and Judea here is a list of the 29 main countries where Islamists are on violent forms of ‘jihad’ currently. They are committing war crimes of a similar nature in each, i.e. mass murders of civilians, often in sadistic fashion, kidnapping, rape and other forms of torture of young women and children, followed by coerced conversions to Islam, theft of land, property, wealth and resources, all to the tune of “Allahu Akbar” so we know where they are coming from ideologically speaking. It’s a clear pattern that can be seen repeating itself for centuries, since long before the declaration of the modern secular liberal democracy of Isreal which has been under non stop attack by surrounding Arab Muslim countries since 1948 . You are enabling terrorism, you are enabling oppression and regressive theology, a mind virus, a form of collective insanity known as Islam. The primary victims of Islam are and always have been Muslims themselves, especially true for women and sexual minorities forced to live under Islamic rule and sharia.
Don’t take my word for any of this; I strongly suggest you research “history of genocide of populations of Jews, Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, Zoroastrians, animists, etc by Islamic forces since the 7th century” Make lists so that the pattern becomes clear to you as it is a pattern repeating itself ad nauseam all through history and to this day.

Then google ‘history of invasion, capture, desecration of holy sites of Jews by Islamic forces since the 7th century’, then replace the word Jews with Hindus, Christians, Buddhists, etc and you will start to understand what is going on. Then read the Quran because that is the book, their ‘perfect’ book that commands them to do these things. Study the history of Islamic ‘jihad’ and study it well. Study the Islamic expansion. Pay close attention to their so called ‘golden age’ which was when they litterally stole all of the gold of their neighbors, along with their land, wealth, property and resources and levied extortion they call ‘jizya’ (a protection racket akin to the mafia) on the elders. They killed all of the fighting aged men and teenaged boys, kidnapped the young women and children and sold them into slavery. THAT is the history of the Islamic expansion and it is still going on, mostly in North and Sub Saharan Africa. And don’t give me any whataboutism, i’m not buying it, it is a logical fallacy commonly used in debate by scoundrels as a red herring diversionary tactic.

I have studies this issue for decades and am a qualified university professor. I know what i’m talking about in an era where too few seem to understand what is going on or see the big picture in terms of Islamic Jihad. Here is that list i mentioned to get you started in your research and re-education.

every death in Gaza is the responsibility of Hamas alone. Here is what they teach their children, how to be good ‘martyrs’ and why and how to hate Jews. All jews, everywhere. This has been going on for 100’s of years, since the 7th century, since long before the inception of the modern state of Israel.

Here is a bit more background information for you dear reader. Genocide of Jews by Islamic forces through history.

1. Conquest of Medina (627 CE): Muhammad’s forces attacked and expelled the Jewish tribes of Medina, resulting in the deaths of many Jews.

2. Massacre of the Banu Qurayza tribe (627 CE): Muhammad’s forces besieged and defeated the Jewish tribe of Banu Qurayza, leading to the execution of over 800 Jewish men and the enslavement of their women and children.

3. Pogroms of 1033-1034 in Fez, Morocco: Jewish communities were attacked, and many Jews were killed, forced to convert, or expelled.

4. Almohad persecution (1146-1248 CE): The Almohad Caliphate in North Africa and Spain forced Jews to convert to Islam, and many who refused were killed or expelled.

5. Ottoman massacres (14th-16th centuries CE): Jewish communities in the Ottoman Empire faced periodic massacres, forced conversions, and persecutions.

6. Farhud (1941 CE) in Baghdad, Iraq: A violent pogrom against Jews resulted in over 180 deaths and widespread destruction of Jewish property.

7. 1391 pogroms in Tunisia: Jewish communities were attacked, and many Jews were killed or forced to convert.

8. 1465 persecutions in Fez, Morocco: Jewish communities faced violence, forced conversions, and expulsions.

9. 1517 expulsion from Egypt: Jews were expelled from Egypt by the Ottoman Empire.

10. 1834 pogrom in Safed, Ottoman Palestine (now Israel): Jewish communities faced violence and destruction of property.

11. 1886 pogroms in Yemen: Jewish communities faced violence, forced conversions, and expulsions.

12. 1912-1913 pogroms in Shiraz, Iran: Jewish communities faced violence, forced conversions, and expulsions.

The Mufti of Jerusalem during World War II was Haj Amin al-Husseini. He was a Palestinian Arab nationalist and Islamic leader who held the position of Grand Mufti of Jerusalem from 1921 to 1948.

Haj Amin al-Husseini was a strong opponent of Jewish immigration to Palestine, which was then under British rule. He saw the Jewish presence in Palestine as a threat to Arab and Muslim interests.

During World War II, al-Husseini sought to align himself and the Palestinian Arab nationalist movement with the Axis powers, particularly Nazi Germany. He believed that an alliance with the Nazis would help him achieve his goals of preventing Jewish immigration to Palestine and establishing an independent Arab state.

In 1941, al-Husseini met with Adolf Hitler and other high-ranking Nazi officials in Berlin. During these meetings, he expressed his support for the Nazi war effort and his desire to collaborate with the Nazis in the Middle East.

Al-Husseini also helped to recruit Muslim soldiers for the German army and advocated for the extermination of Jews in the Middle East. He saw the Holocaust as an opportunity to eliminate the Jewish presence in Palestine and advance his own nationalist goals.

Al-Husseini’s collaboration with the Nazis was not representative of the views of all Palestinians or Arabs at the time. Many Arabs and Palestinians opposed Nazi ideology and collaborated with the Allies during World War II.

After the war, al-Husseini fled to Egypt, where he continued to play a role in Palestinian politics until his death in 1974.

1948-1949:

1. 1948 Arab-Israeli War: A coalition of Arab states, including Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria, launched a military campaign against the newly declared State of Israel.

1950s-1960s:

1. Palestinian Fedayeen attacks (1950s-1960s): Palestinian militants, backed by Arab states, carried out numerous cross-border attacks against Israeli civilians and military targets.

2. Sinai War (1956): Egypt, backed by Palestinian militants, launched a military campaign against Israel, which resulted in Israel’s occupation of the Sinai Peninsula.

1970s:

1. Munich Olympics massacre (1972): Palestinian militants from the Black September organization killed 11 Israeli athletes and coaches during the Munich Olympics.

2. Yom Kippur War (1973): A coalition of Arab states, including Egypt and Syria, launched a surprise military attack against Israel on Yom Kippur.

1980s:

1. Lebanon War (1982-1985): Israel invaded Lebanon to drive out Palestinian militants, leading to a protracted conflict.

2020s:

1. Gaza border protests (2018-2020): Palestinian protesters, backed by Hamas, clashed with Israeli security forces along the Gaza border, resulting in significant casualties.

2. Israel-Gaza conflicts (2021): Israel launched military campaigns against Hamas and other Palestinian militant groups in Gaza, resulting in significant casualties and infrastructure damage.

3. October 7th, 2023 attacks, also known as Operation Al-Aqsa Flood. On that day, Hamas and other Palestinian militant groups launched coordinated armed incursions from the Gaza Strip into southern Israel, marking the first invasion of Israeli territory since the 1948 Arab-Israeli War.

The attacks began with a barrage of over 4,300 rockets launched into Israel, killing dozens and injuring many more. Simultaneously, around 6,000 Palestinian militants and civilians infiltrated Israel from Gaza, breaching the border in 119 locations. The militants attacked military bases, settlements, and civilians, resulting in significant casualties and damage.

Some of the most devastating attacks occurred at the Supernova Sukkot Gathering, a music festival near kibbutz Re’im, where 364 civilians were killed and many more wounded. Other attacks took place in Kfar Aza, Be’eri, and Netiv HaAsara, resulting in hundreds of deaths and injuries.

The October 7th attacks were widely condemned by governments and organizations around the world, and are described as a terrorist attack, a war crime, an atrocity and a massacre.

And there is more… Hamas continues to fire rockets, hold Israeli citizens captive, engage in a sick and transparently nefarious/diabolical PR scam, using the people of Gaza as human shields and cannon fodder/martyrs. That they intended many Gaza civilians to die, especially women and children, is readily apparent and quite obvious to any who have studied the history and been paying attention to the issues in the region and around the world these past few decades.

Islam is at war with reality and with modernity, at war with what we in the secular democracies call decency, sanity and tolerance. Islam is the least tolerant of other religious beliefs and acts upon that intolerance which is laid out in their Quran and many and various hadiths.

Here are some quotes from the Quran, that text that Muslims live by.

“kill the disbelievers wherever Muslims find them” (2:191)

To fight the unbelievers until no other religion except Islam is left (2:193)

The holy Prophet prescribes fighting for Muslims and says that “it is good for Muslims even if they dislike it” (2:216)

The Qur’an takes away the freedom of belief from all humanity and relegate all those who disbelieve in Islam to hell (5:10)

It instructs the Muslims to “slay or crucify or cut the hands and feet off the unbelievers, that they be expelled from the land with disgrace and that they shall have a great punishment in the world hereafter” (5:34)

“Muslims are not to make friendships with Jews and Christians” (5:51)

Allah has promised to “instil terror into the hearts of the unbelievers” and has ordered Muslims to “smite above their necks (beheading) and smite all their fingertips off them” (8:12)

He also assures Muslims that when they kill in his name “it is not Muslims who slay them, but Allah, in order that He might test the Believers by a gracious trial from Himself” (8:17)

Allah orders Muslims to fight unbelievers until there is no more tumult and faith in Allah is practised everywhere (8:39)

He orders Muslims to “strike terror into the hearts of the enemies” (8:60)

The Qur’an demands that Muslims fight the unbelievers, and promises, “If there are twenty amongst you, you will vanquish two hundred; if a hundred, you will vanquish a thousand of them” (8:65)

Allah and his messenger announce that it is acceptable for Muslims to go back on promises (treaties) and obligations with pagans (unbelievers) and make war on them whenever they find themselves strong enough to do so (9:3)

“fight and slay the pagans, seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem” (9:5)

Allah tells Muslims to “fight the unbelievers” and “He will punish them by the Muslims hands, cover them with shame and help Muslims (to victory) over them” (9:14)

The Qur’an prohibits a Muslim from befriending a non-believer even if that non-believer is the father or the brother of that Muslim (9:23)

Calls non-belivers najis (filthy, untouchable, impure) (9:28)

Allah and his messenger want Muslims to fight the Christians and the Jews “until they pay the Jizya (a penalty tax for the non-Muslims living under Islamic rules) with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued” (9:29

He has made the Jihad mandatory and warns Muslims that “Unless they go forth, (for Jihad) He will punish the Muslims with a grievous penalty, and put others in their place” (9:39)

He promises Muslims that fight for His cause, whether they slay or are slain, they will return to the garden of Paradise (9:111)

The Qur’an instructs Muslims to be disobedient towards the disbelievers and their governments and strive against the unbelievers with great endeavour (25:52)

Allah advises Muslims to “strike off the heads of the disbelievers” and after making a “wide slaughter among them, carefully tie up the remaining captives” (47:4)

Although Muslims are asked to be compassionate amongst each other, they have to be “harsh with unbelievers, their Christian and Jewish and Atheist neighbours and colleagues” (48:29)

Palestinians will not be free until they free THEMSELVES from Hamas and from Islamists in general. They are prisoners of an outmoded and false theology and ideology which openly indoctrinates it’s children into a world view the hates and wants to murder all Jews. Hamas are a far right militant Islamist organization, defined as ‘terrorists’ by most of the secular western democracies. Similar Islamist groups are at war in no fewer than 20 different countries currently and responsible for act of terrorism in much of the ‘free’ world. Do you support equal rights for ALL, regardless of ethnicity, regardless of skin colour, regardless of gender or sexual orientation, separation of church and state, freedom of speech, a free press, women’s rights, sexual freedom, secularism, equal rights for ALL in law? If so it makes no sense at all to support Hamas or any other Islamist group. Look at what they’ve done in Afghanastan since they took power and set up their ‘caliphate’.

In the most recent caliphate in Afghanistan they are at war with their own people now, with freedoms we take for granted in the western secular democracies. The Taliban has controlled Afghanistan since 2021. Girls are now banned from attending school past sixth grade. Independent media, including newspapers and radio stations, have been shut down. Protestors, journalists, and activists are being arrested.

If you support equal civil rights and freedoms that were hard fought and won by the civil rights movement in the west. If you are out there chanting ‘from the river to the sea’ you obviously have not studied history or international relations, cultural anthropology, politics, to a great enough extent to really know or understand what that really means. Read the original Hamas charter, it’s right there, it means kill all Jews living in Israel, man, woman and child. In Islam it is ‘legal’ and ‘acceptable’ to capture, imprison and rape female captives and they do so in most horrific way possible. Look at what they did to the Yazidis for factual historical accounts of them doing this. Then look at what they did on October 7th, 2023 when they murdered 1200+ Israelis, including elders, women, children, all non-combatants. War Crimes, barbaric, psychotic, murderous behaviour. The mind set (ideology) they are in would not be possible were it not for the ridiculous, horrible and obviously false religious beliefs which underpins it. Anti semitism is deeply ingrained in the Muslim world for hundreds of years, since long before Zionism was even a thing and that has played out in many genocides, pogroms, mass expulsions. Let’s remember that Palestinian and other Muslim leaders were allied with the Nazis during WW2 and attempted to bring ‘the final solution’ to the middle east to help them deal with their ‘jewish problem’. That mind set and intention never went away in the Islamist world view.
