Signs of Disingenuous debate on the Gaza issue.

It is quite obvious who is being genuine or disengenuous re the Gaza situation simply by noting who does and who does NOT call for the release of Israeli hostages; the one sure fire way bring about a cease fire. If one does NOT call for the release of hostages, it is readily apparent that they do not want either peace or justice; they want what Hamas wants; i.e. the annihilation of the jewish state and all of her citizens. Note that for centuries Islam has been violently obsessed with dominating and controlling, most often destroying, erasing and taking possesion of the holy sites of every other religion, Jews, Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, Druze, Bahá’í, etc. To do that is, in fact, part of their religion and associated ideology. While that is obviously and evidently true of Jerusalem, the temple mount, I present evidence of the wider pattern and trend in history. It is indisputable, that is what they do, that is what they have always done, that is what they will continue to do unless put in check.

Here’s a list of historical Jewish sites destroyed or damaged by Islamic forces from the 7th century to present:

1. Temple Mount (Jerusalem, 638 CE): The Second Temple was destroyed by the Rashidun Caliphate.

2. Solomon’s Temple (Jerusalem, 638 CE): Also destroyed by the Rashidun Caliphate.

3. Ezra’s Tomb (Basra, Iraq, 941 CE): Destroyed by the Qarmatians, a Shia Islamic sect.

13. Jewish Quarter (Hebron, 1929 CE): Destroyed during the Hebron massacre.

14. Great Synagogue (Aleppo, Syria, 1947 CE): Torched by Arab rioters.

15. Jewish sites in Iraq (1941 CE): Destroyed during the Farhud pogrom.

the above is not even close to a complete list on Islamic agression directed at Hindus over the past centuries.

So, we are seeing a long pattern of hatred, prejudice and violence directed at any group that is not Muslim going back far beyond the existence of the modern state of Israel. There for it is completely irrational to blame the Jews or the Israelis for this pattern and those who do blame Jews for it clearly reveal their own ignorance and, in many cases, irrational prejudice by doing so. All are useful idiots in this sense.

The term “useful idiot” is often misunderstood so let’s clarify its meaning.

The term “useful idiot” was originally coined by Vladimir Lenin to describe Western intellectuals and politicians who supported the Soviet Union’s ideology without fully understanding its implications. These individuals were seen as naive and unwittingly promoting the Soviet agenda.

The term doesn’t necessarily imply that someone is an idiot in the classical sense. Rather, it suggests that they are being manipulated or exploited by others, often due to their own biases, ignorance, or idealism.

Intelligent people can indeed be fooled or misled, especially when it comes to complex issues or ideologies. The term “useful idiot” is more about the role someone plays in promoting a particular agenda, rather than their intelligence or cognitive abilities.
